- Find the center of your Aida and the center of the chart, and start there so the design stays centered.
- Work one color at a time, following the symbol chart — each square is one full cross-stitch.
- Use 2 strands of floss over 1 Aida square for solid coverage; match each symbol to its DMC code in the legend.
- Stitch the darkest color last if you want to add a backstitch outline — it makes the sprite pop.
