Adachi has a wholly distinctive style: her subjects look like flat, sculpted clay models, staged among papercraft environments. It's often compared to Yuka Morii's clay work, but the handmade paper sets make it unmistakably her own.
An overlooked craft artist
Active since EX Team Rocket Returns in 2004, she's the lesser-known of the game's handmade-media artists — many collectors don't realise there's a second clay-style illustrator beyond Morii.
Build a binder page
Pair Adachi's papercraft scenes with Yuka Morii's clay cards for a 'handmade diorama' page — two takes on building Pokémon from real materials.
Collector tip
Often confused with Yuka Morii — check the artist line. Most of Adachi's work sits in the EX and HeartGold & SoulSilver eras, so that's where to hunt.
