Collecting Pikachu

Pikachu has been on cards since 1999, debuting across both Base Set and Jungle simultaneously, and the pool has since ballooned to 177 cards spanning 88 different sets — by far the largest in this dex range. A VMAX form exists among the modern printings, but the chase card predates all of that: the 2006 Holon Phantoms Pikachu Star, a Rare Holo Star.
